Yellow Teeth?

I have braces and my teeth are yellow. i brush my teeth every night and i was wondering if my teeth are naturally yellow or yellow because of my braces. If they are naturally yellow should i get whiteners for braces or should i get them proffesionally whitened?

just whiten them...I have yellow teeth too...and I brush my teeth 3 times a day...so just go to a dentist and tell them to whiten your teeth
Reply:Get smokers tooth polish to remove the yellow. Smoking yellows the teeth. Or try baking soda tooth paste. It tastes awful, but will remove the yellow.
Reply:It%26#039;s actually normal to have yellow teeth most people don%26#039;t have completely white teeth and actually having too white of teeth is not as good as you think sometimes when a tooth or teeth may be already white it might be that person has decalcified enamel but if you really want to have whiter teeth you could use crest white stripes which worked for me but usually when you get your teeth professionally whited they only last for so long
Reply:crest whitening strips work really well for me. if they have strips for braces or brush on ones i would suggest it, much cheaper than professional whitening.
Reply:was your teeth yellow before you got your braces? it could be the way your teeth are if so. ask your orthodontist next tightening visit about your oral hygeine. they will tell you if you are brushing properly. do not whiten your teeth with braces. it can make your teeth more sensitive then they already are. also, when you get your braces off, you will have dark spots where your braces were since the whitening couldn%26#039;t touch those places. dentists will not whiten your teeth with braces on.
Reply:Well my fellow brace face...lol...just kidding, but I have braces too %26amp; several months ago I noticed my teeth getting a little discolored %26amp; I%26#039;ve always been known to have clean white teeth. My solution was an electric toothbrush and whitening toothpaste %26amp; I got a cleaning at my hygenist %26amp; that brought my teeth back to life %26amp; beyond. CHEESE :D
