Yellow teeth?

I brush them every day but they are still yellow.I try the stuff they sell on tv but didn%26#039;t work.I NEED HELP.

Yellow teeth?
Do you drink a lot of tea or coffee? That will make your teeth yellow.

Not everyone has naturally bright white teeth - natural colors of teeth range from brilliant white to a much duller white.

If the whitening toothpastes and usual treatments don%26#039;t work you may need cosmetic help from a dentist to get your teeth whiter.

Reply:do you smoke? if you do...that is why they still yellow...

have you tried going to the dentist and have them do that procedure where they use laser? I think and give them a new white look?
Reply:Cut out coffee and soda, they stain your teeth.
Reply:Ah, just say it%26#039;s your new %26quot;Grillz%26quot;.
Reply:Your supposed 2 brush them every day,its not some kind of miracle whip that happens in just a second
Reply:Don%26#039;t smoke.....

or drink coffee
Reply:Brush your teeth with lemon and baking soda about 3 times a week. I%26#039;ll help I do that all the time.
Reply:A good dentist and some baking soda. Works for me.
Reply:Maybe you are lacking calcium or flouride. Go see a dentist. You know, HEALTHY teeth are much more important than PRETTY teeth. Do you smoke or drink a lot of coffee or soda? They might be stained. I would try baking soda...make a paste with a little and some water and brush your teeth with that. It might help to take off some stains. It is also great when you are broke and run out of toothpaste.

One person said to use lemon juice and baking soda...don%26#039;t do that! Lemon juice is VERY acidic, and will eat away at the enamil on your teeth. For a while, they will look white and pretty. That is the enamil being eaten away. Then you will start to get divets along the gum line...not healthy. Don%26#039;t try this you will regret it. I ate a lot of lemons when I was younger, and had to pay a dentist a lot of money to fix my teeth.
Reply:Consult a dentist they can tell you how to solve the problem and what to cut out so that the problem does not persist
Reply:Crest White Strips inexpensive and they work
Reply:Brush everyday with a whitening tooth paste..Whitening expressions is awesome..Also go to your dentist regularly...Use a whitening gel with trays they are pretty cheap at wal mart
Reply:go to a dentist
Reply:my dentist said some people do have yellow teeth. I got the same darn problem. nothing has worked. they shine more but still yellow.
Reply:Usually with a routine cleaning and x-rays which ranges from $5-$80 depending if you only have a insurance co-pay or pay straight out mant dentists offer %26quot;FREE%26quot; teeth whitening for new patients, so I%26#039;d do that!
Reply:combination of baking soda, Listerine and toothpaste. Make a paste and use this concoction three times a day. Don%26#039;t forget the tongue.
Reply:go to your dentist and ask him what he recommends. you can buy teeth whitening kits from the chemist but I think some of these can damage your teeth, far safer to ask your dentists opinion. if you smoke, this yellows the teeth, so you should stop first or the treatment will be useless.
Reply:Remember, when you brush, you are removing all the plaque which acts as a protective coating over your teeth during the day. Therefore, they are most vulnerable for an hour or two after brushing so don%26#039;t smoke (anything) for awhile afterwards %26amp; ditto for ingesting staining types of drinks like coffee, tea %26amp; dark colored sodas. Also, lay off the weed, meth %26amp; crack cuz they take a heavy toll on your teeth as well.
Reply:YOUR BEST OPTION IS TO SEE YOUR DENTIST. THEIR PRODUCTS ARE THE STRONGEST%26amp;SAFEST. USUALLY YOU SEE RESULTS IMMEDIATELY BUT IT CAN BE COSTLY. IF THAT%26#039;S NOT AN OPTION TRY OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCTS LIKE CREST STRIPS %26amp; WHITENING TOOTHPASTE LIKE ARM%26amp;HAMMER OR MENTADENT. THEY MUST BE USED REGULARLY TO SEE RESULTS %26amp; IT CAN TAKE 3-4 WKS DEPENDING ON THE STAINING. AVOID THE %26quot;TRAY%26quot; PRODUCTS CAUSE THEY CAN HARM YOUR GUMS. COLA PRODUCTS, COFFEE, TEA, RED WINES %26amp; SMOKING CAN STAIN YOUR TEETH SO IF YOU DRINK ANY OF THOSE OR SMOKE YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE STAINING. IF YOU MUST DRINK THOSE PRODUCTS TRY TO RINSE W/WATER RIGHT AWAY OR BRUSH.
Reply:its placate u need to see your dentist he or she can help u alot and tell u the best way to go
Reply:I just tried the Walmart brand Whitestrips for the last 10 days or so. They helped a little, but I%26#039;m going to buy the Crest Whitestrips now %26amp; see if they work better.

Make sure to see your dentist 2x a year for check-up %26amp; cleaning.
Reply:There are several reasons for staining and yellow teeth:

1. As you get older your teeth age and one side effect is yellowing of your teeth

2. Smoking causes stainging as well as increases perio disease

3. Coffee and dark colored sodas sometimes contribute

4. Coffee and teas cause brownish stainings

5. Medication and prescription or other drug use

6. HEREDITY!

Depending on your situation as you look through the list first try to find out what might be causing you yellowing and if possible try to make changes. Then, I would recommend going to the Dentist and get a cleaning done. Theres in office whitening systems. Effective but costly. Another choice is Crest Whitestrips. Cost efficient, quick 7days usually, painless. Just done overdo it! Follow instructions. If it says to use for 7 days then use for 7 days not 14 days. Longer use dosen%26#039;t men whiter teeth. If you overdo it then it could hurt your teeth in the long run. Oh and also. While your buying that Whitestrip kit pick up some sensitive tothpaste also. The biggest side effect to whitening products is sensitivity especially to cold. But usually after completeing the whitening the sensitivity subsides. Good Luck!
Reply:If you want whiter teeth then first of all go see your dentist for a cleaning and exam. The cleaning will remove any extrinsic stains on your teeth caused by such things as smoking and drinking dark beverages. The cleaning will also remove calculus which cannot be removed by you at home with a toothbrush. Speak with the dentist about whitening and see what he or she recommends. I would not recommend using any over-the-counter whitening products as they are not ADA approved. I also would not recommend the whitening toothpastes because they are very abrasive and can cause potential damage to the enamel of your teeth. Also, make sure you practice good oral hygiene by brushing 2-3 times a day and flossing at least once a day in addition to seeing your dentist every 6 months for cleanings. In the future try to avoid those things that do stain your teeth.
