Yellow teeth?

yikes! oh well i%26#039;m getting really concious about my looks. im trying to change my sleeping habits and stuff. and my teeth are YELLOW :(

i can%26#039;t buy the crest whitening strips cause they are NOT avaiable in my country (philippines) I AM SURE THEY ARE NOT available.. and whiting stripes here dont work.

do SALT really work? i dont have lemon right now but im going to try the SALT only thing tonight.. and the peroxide hyrdrogen :)) thing, my mom said to not use it cause it can ruin my gums.

my mom wont allow me to go get my teeth whitened or anything :(

baking soda really works? please i need stories. hehe like if it worked hehe please :)

Yellow teeth?
1.Whitening Mouthwash

This is perhaps the easiest method. All you need to do is swish it around your mouth for about a minute. However, these are usually only effective if your teeth are only very mildly stained because the whitening agents are only on your teeth for a short amount of time.

2.Whitening Strips

Working under the same principles as the paint-on bleach, these strips have the whitening agent included right on them. You simply place the strips on your teeth, usually once or twice a day. These can work quite well.
Reply:hydrogen poroxide and baking soda works. it might not be as fast as whitening strips though. if it%26#039;s not fast enough, try finding the strips on ebay or something, post a %26quot;want it now%26quot; ad. hope this helps!
Reply:try brushing them, that may help.
Reply:DON%26#039;T use lemon. As it will slightly whiten, it will damage tooth enamel as it is acidic.

Baking Soda will also work, but it is not good for your teeth long term.

My recommendation? I%26#039;ve been using Lysterine dissolving strips. They are slightly less effective than the regular non-dissolving ones but they are so much easier to use and feel nicer which = better results. At least for me. I bought them through ebay so you should be able to find a reseller to ship there.
Reply:Salt and lemon can strip your teeth of enamel. Baking soda is what has been suggested to me before but it doesn%26#039;t make any drastic difference. I just get mine done at the dentist now.
Reply:If you are in the Philipines, you should be able to find a dentist that offers laser whitening. It might be a bit expensive for you though. They do also have some whiteners at places like Boots or Watson%26#039;s which might help. They also sell whitening toothpastes for smokers.

If you want white teeth you should be prepared to give up coffee and some other staining drinks if you drink them or else you whitening efforts won%26#039;t last long.

Baking soda is an old favorite but it can be abrasive. the same goes for the hydrogen peroxide. i would be careful with both of those and to be honest I don%26#039;t think those will produce the results you want for the damage they coudl potentially do. by the way, the hydrogen which whitens best is a cream called hydrogen carbomide or somethign like that. They sell that at Watson%26#039;s.

Go for the laser whitening if you have the money.
Reply:Kumusta! There is nothing that will %26quot;whiten%26quot; your teeth besides a dentist. They use a lazer light and special bleach. Baking soda and salt are considered abrasives. (You know? Kinda like sand?) They will work a little bit to remove surface stains, but most of the time teeth turn yellow with age. The yellow is on the %26quot;inside%26quot; of the tooth not the outside. But if you floss and brush regularly with an antiseptic that helps to prevent your teeth from turning more yellow. Baking Soda and salt is OK like once or twice a week. But don%26#039;t expect to have a celebrity smile. Hydrogen Peroxide is fine too. As long as you don%26#039;t over do it. Maybe once per month. Make sure you dilute (mix) with water though. It will ruin your gums if you do it straight. Coffee and tea turn teeth yellow cuz of the caffeine. Same with soda.

Maybe you can try this website and order it. Or maybe there is a website for white strips that could deliver to the Philz pero hindi ko alam.
Reply:I%26#039;m sure salt will work because when i went to doctor he told me to use salt and its also useful for your gums.

You can use tooth brash also.

If lemon i available now , you can use it also but i don%26#039;t think it will make your teeth white but its useful.

good luck!:)
