Yellow Teeth?

Can you help me find ways to get whiter teeth just short of having them professionally bleached?

Any details on the %26quot;bleach them with equal parts baking soda and peroxide%26quot; mixture/solution? will be greatly appreciated.

Will there be instances in which Crest Whitestrips don%26#039;t work? My dad won%26#039;t let me use them but maybe with some help I can convince him.

My teeth are yellow. i dont drink tea or soda. i used to not brush for quite a long time. i have been brushing regularly for almost half an year (i brush my tongue and floss too). what can i do to get whiter teeth asap? i will continue with the brushing routine but my teeth are annoying - i cant smile. i may be brushing incorrectly.

also i am getting braces. will that interfere with anything? is there a color brace that wont make my teeth look even yellower

Yellow Teeth?
I recently wanted to whiten my teeth also, so I went online and started doing a little research because there are so many methods available to complete the process. There is the whitening strips, the gel molds, the paint on stuff, not to mention all the toothpastes that include whitening components.

The most effective way to whiten your teeth is using the gel molds. They are the most expensive and also the least pleasant to use. If you get the gel on your gums, it makes them bleed. You also have to worry about oversensitivity. Whitening toothpastes are ineffective in my opinion. With the paint on gels, you risk missing a spot or unevenly applying it and having color differences on your teeth. (This can also be a problem with gel molds).

I have friends who%26#039;ve used Crest White Strips and they said it worked, but they taste really bad and your teeth are more sensitive to temperature changes. I also have a cousin that used to be a dental hygienist. She uses the gel molds. She confirmed that your gums do bleed and they are very sensitive to temperature, but she said that goes away with continued use. If I were you, I%26#039;d use the Crest White Strips. Yes, it takes like 30 minutes a night, and it tastes bad, but you won%26#039;t have to risk bleeding gums, just oversensitivity at first and a bad taste in your mouth.

This website breaks things down in a more detailed manner:

Good Luck!
Reply:Just try pure baking soda instead of tooth paste.
Reply:Brushing and flossing is very important for the health of your gums...do that twice a day at the very least and as for the whitening why don%26#039;t you find out if there is a dental hygiene school nearby that can clean your teeth for 15 bucks or maybe for FREE! these schools sometimes offer a higher percentage of hydrogen peroxide crest white strips that will work better than over the counter products.
Reply:well i use to use those white strips and they work wonders yes they are kinda of expensive but they are well worth it if i was you i would buy ever thing that says will whiten your teeth but it%26#039;s kinda your fault for not brushing your teeth
