Yellow teeth???

i have yellow teeth and i wanna get rid of the yellowness but it might be hereditery and i am not going to use whiting strips and i brush at least 2 times a day!!??any good toothpastes?oh and does coffee cause yellow teeth?

Reply:first of all, go to the dentist and get a good cleaning. they can recommend a good toothpaste to use. and yes, coffee does yellow your teeth.

Reply:Some whitening toothpastes do help. And by the way YES YES YES coffee causes stains on your teeth. Make sure to rinse well after you drink coffee-or brush if you can. Whitening strips and the other stuff available over the counter really helps. They may lighten your teeth about 3-5 shades. I would check with my dentist though, their whitening products are far better. And if you think the yellowness might be hereditary they will be able to whiten better and it will last longer.
Reply:Whitening toothpastes will not actually whiten your teeth. The only thing they do is help keep stains from forming on teeth due to dark liquids or foods, ect. The best thing would be the whitening solution from a dental office. If thats to expensive, the over the counter whitening methods are basically the same thing, just not as strong of a solution.
